Queen St 08 – a huge success

On Friday 5th September, the Queen St Film Festival celebrated its 4th annual screening and awards night.

This was the Festival’s most successful year with 125 people attending.

QUEEN ST FILM FESTIVAL
SCREENING & AWARDS NIGHT

WHEN: Friday, 5th September 2008
WHERE: 295 Queen St, CBD (crn Queen & Little Lonsdale St - enter side gate via Little Lonsdale St)
TIME: 6pm (refreshments served)

Screening the best Australian short-films, including VU-students, non-VU students & indie filmmakers.

TICKETS:
$10 adults

$8 students (provide proof of ID - uni or concession card)
$6 VU-students (provide proof of ID - uni card)

Tickets can only be purchased on the night at the gate. Ticket includes entry to screening + 1 free Afterparty drink at Horse Bazaar Bar.

The festival begins at 6pm with refreshments.

QUEEN ST 2007 SCREENING & TICKET DETAILS

When: Thursday 23rd August 2007
Time: 6:00pm drinks, screening 6:45pm
Where: 295 Queen St, City (Melb)
Tickets: $6 students, $8 non-students – (groups of 5 get $1 off each ticket).

Tickets can be purchased @ the venue on the night.
To pre-book, email (s3638708@students.vu.edu.au) or SMS (0423 273 803) name, number and type (student-$6/non-student-$8) of tickets required.
Pay and pick them up on the night – only CASH will be accepted.

Includes entry to Queen St After Party at Horse Bazaar + 1 FREE drink & $2 OFF all mixed drinks and champagne!!

The judging panel will include: Fiona Maxwell from Next Wave Festival, C31 producer Nick Burdon and Eddie Beyrouthy founder of Showtime Studios.

The night will also be raising funds for Youngcare Foundation – a charity taking young, disabled people out aged care nursing homes.
